The ELM-1 Auto Lensmeter is a next-generation optical measurement device engineered for accuracy, speed, and operational efficiency. Its compact, ergonomic design makes it ideal for modern optical stores and ophthalmic clinics, while its powerful performance ensures consistent and reliable results.
At the core of the ELM-1 is an advanced Hartmann measurement technique with 249 measuring points, representing a 72% increase over previous generations. By optimizing the Hartmann light diaphragm and integrating a patterned center-of-mass algorithm, the system delivers faster, more accurate, and highly stable lens measurements.
The ELM-1 supports UV and blue-light transmittance / blocking rate measurement, allowing professionals to evaluate protective lens performance with precision. A unique lens abrasion evaluation function visually displays distortion levels using color-coded dots—blue indicating no distortion and red indicating severe distortion—helping practitioners assess lens condition and recommend replacements confidently.
With prism prescription mode, pre-entered prism values enable the cursor to automatically locate the optical center, eliminating manual calculation errors. The device is also optimized for progressive lenses, ensuring smooth and precise cursor tracking through intelligent path-planning algorithms.
Even for low-transmittance lenses (below 3%), including photochromic lenses, the ELM-1 delivers accurate measurements by overcoming light-blocking limitations. A high-resolution 1024 × 600 capacitive touch screen, built-in thermal printer, and Bluetooth connectivity further enhance workflow efficiency and user experience.
